Notes: Inititially the home of Edmun Gunthe, the house was first known as "Bellevue". It was sold to Edward Hume Blake in c1911, and was then known as 'Humewood". Additions were made and the house was given a new east-west orientation. It was purchased in 1928 by Mrs. Josephine. S. Burnside, eldest daughter of Timothy Eaton. She had the house remodelled by Burden and Gouinlock in the late 1920s / early 1930s. After she died in 1943, the house became the property of the Mothercraft Society. In 1963 the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce purchased the property to use as a staff training facility.
