Notes James A. Ellis. Formed the partnership of Ellis & Connery in 1906, and it lasted until about 1914. Around 1916 he went into partnership with with his son as Ellis & Ellis, continuing to design buildings through the 1920s.

Notes: Established in 1888 as the West Toronto Mechanic's Institute. Renamed Toronto Junction Library in 1895, then West Toronto Public Library in 1908-1909. The Toronto Public Library took it over in 1909 and then it was called the Western Branch of the TPL. It was named the Annette Street Branch in April 1962.
